<p>A famous landmark in <strong>Scotland </strong>is the <strong>Forth Bridge</strong>. It is a World Heritage Site and for many people. It is a symbol of Scotland. It is a railway bridge and it crosses the Firth of Forth in the east of Scotland. Sir John Fowler and Sir Benjamin Baker designed it and it opened in 1890.</p>
<p>A famous landmark in <strong>Ireland</strong> is the <strong>Giant’s Causeway</strong> in County Antrim. It is a World Heritage Site. It is an area of over 40, 000 stone columns. The columns formed after a volcanic eruption millions of years ago. The columns have many sides and some of them are 12 metres tall and 28 metres thick.</p>
<p>A famous landmark in <strong>Wales is Caernarfon Castle </strong>near Gwynedd in North Wales. The stone castle dates from the 13th century, but there was a castle on the same site centuries earlier. King Edward I built it and today it is a major tourist attraction. </p>
