<h2><strong>I. Quy tắc</strong></h2>
<p>Trong những từ có 2 âm tiết có cách viết giống nhau:</p>
<p>- danh từ thường được nhấn trọng âm vào âm tiết đầu tiên</p>
<p>Ví dụ: a ‘record (bản ghi âm/ kỉ lục)</p>
<p>- động từ thường được nhấm trọng âm vào âm tiết thứ hai</p>
<p>Ví dụ: to re’cord (ghi âm)</p>
<p><strong>Chú ý</strong>: Một số danh từ và động từ có 2 âm tiết có cách viết giống nhau không thay đổi trọng âm của từ.</p>
<p>Ví dụ: </p>
<p>an ‘answer (câu trả lời) – to ‘answer (trả lời)</p>
<p>a ‘picture (một bức tranh) – to ‘picture (tưởng tượng/ hình dung)</p>
<h2><strong>II. Các ví dụ:</strong></h2>
<p>The centre keeps a 'record of all donations.</p>
<p>We will re'cord the charity live show for those who can't watch it live.</p>
<p>There was an 'increase in house prices last year.</p>
<p>We want to in'crease students' interest in volunteering at the community centre.</p>
<p>I got this 'present from a visitor to our centre.</p>
<p>The committee will pre’sent its final report to Parliament in June.</p>
