<p style="text-align: justify;">Cơ cấu kinh tế Đông Nam Bộ đã có sự chuyển dịch theo hướng tích cực, phù hợp với xu thế Công nghiệp hóa – Hiện đại hóa tức là:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">+ Tăng dần tỉ trọng ngành CN và dịch vụ (CN tăng từ 53,6%/1995 à 54,2%/2010, DV tăng từ 36,8%/1995 à 39,8%/2010)</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">+ Giảm tỉ trọng khu vực Nông-Lâm-Ngư nghiệp ( 6,6%/1995 à 6,0%/2010)</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Tuy nhiên tốc độ chuyển dịch vẫn còn khá chậm chạp.</p>
